Crafty arts owners discuss the business growth journey.
While we have always prided ourselves on our expertise and commitment to creating fantastic projects, the real success story in terms of where we are today and where we are going started with a reorganisation of the company in 2010.
We had built up a great reputation and were, arguably, the busiest, most well-known building company in the area. However, the internal business infrastructure was simply not in place to take the business to the next level.
Led by our ActionCOACH, whom we started working with in 2015, we divided the company into two areas of discipline, build and restore, and developed small teams of craftsmen with specialist skills to sit within the bigger team. We appointed a head foreman to lead each team and ensure everyone clearly understood their distinct roles and responsibilities.
This crucial, first step was the start of a whole new era for London Building Renovation. By unmuddying the waters and having a crystal clear strategy, day-to-day operations became far more efficient and, freeing up wasted time and resources, we were able to formulate a longer-term business growth plan, building on the positives we already had in place. Key to all this was our ActionCOACH introducing the L.I.O.N. framework into our company practices.
